Have you found yourself overwhelmed by the amount of things to do in Shibuya? Don’t worry because we have you covered! Here is how you can spend your day in Shibuya from morning to evening.

Start your day off right by waking up early and enjoying breakfast at your accommodation at The Millennials Shibuya. After that, head out and explore what the city has to offer!

Walk Across Shibuya Crossing

No trip to Tokyo is complete without a stroll across the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world, where an average of 2,500 people cross the street at the same time. You can snap breathtaking photos from the nearby Starbucks or from Shibuya Sky’s observation deck.

Shop Till You Drop

From the youth fashion mecca Shibuya 109 to lively department complexes like PARCO, Shibuya Scramble Square and Hikarie, there are plenty of places to peruse the latest Japanese clothing trends, buy souvenirs and enjoy delicious food. PARCO has the first official Nintendo store in Japan as well as Pokemon Center Shibuya. Shibuya also boasts the biggest Don Quixote, the most popular place to shop among tourists, in Japan. You can find anything you want from beauty and skincare to Japanese snacks to take back home.

Stroll through Yoyogi Park

A popular haunt for foreigners and Japanese alike, Yoyogi Park offers a sprawling green space for Tokyoites to relax, take a walk in the woods or enjoy a relaxing picnic. It’s also near Meiji Jingu, a century-old Shinto shrine that houses Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken.

Walk Down Takeshita Street

After walking around Yoyogi Park, head to nearby Takeshita Street in Harajuku, where you can enjoy a crepe, browse the cutest fashion, shop at the three-story Daiso or take cute purikura photos. You can also try Instagram-worthy rainbow cotton candy, candied strawberries or fried potato spirals.

Enjoy the Nightlife

Head back to Shibuya for its thriving nightlife. The staff at The Millennials Shibuya recommend “Camelot,” which is close to the hotel and offers great diversity in its music playlist. If you’re interested in clubbing or drinking but aren’t sure where to go, feel free to ask the friendly staff for recommendations.
