We are delighted to invite you to our Night Terrace Event on July 28th (Sunday) where you can enjoy the grand fireworks display of the final day of the Otaru Ushio Festival, a quintessential summer event in Otaru, with drinks and snacks on our rooftop terrace.
What is the Otaru Ushio Festival?
The Otaru Ushio Festival, celebrating its 58th year, is a grand and historical festival representing the summer in Otaru. It began as an event to pass on Otaru’s history and culture to future generations and to pray for the city’s prosperity.
- The festival opens with the “Shio Furekomi” on the first day.
- The second day features the elegant “Shio Nerikomi” dances.
- The final day showcases the “Mikoshi Parade” and the “Grand Fireworks Display”.
Our hotel’s 4th-floor rooftop terrace is known as a hidden spot to view the “Grand Fireworks Display” on the final day of the festival. Why not relax and enjoy this year’s fireworks from the top floor of UNWIND HOTEL & BAR OTARU?
This year, we have prepared an Apero set (light snacks) that includes a drink (sparkling wine, cocktails, etc.) and Hokkaido cheese, ham, homemade sandwiches, venison pate, and petit cakes to enjoy alongside the fireworks.
Both staying and non-staying guests are welcome to join us, so please feel free to come.

- Minors: 3,000 yen (tax included)
- Elementary School Students and Below: Free
