Now, we’re proud to introduce “Chef’s Green Labo,” a new concept under our “Wellness on the Plate” initiative. It’s a hands-on cooking workshop focused on food that’s not only good for your body but also kind to the planet. The workshop highlights seasonal ingredients sourced from trusted Kansai-based producers and reimagines them through sustainable, ethical cooking.

Experience the Elegant World of Vegan French Cuisine — “Chef’s Green Labo” in an Intimate Setting
Led by our in-house chef, who brings years of experience in French cuisine and a flair for inventive vegan dishes, this small-group workshop gives you the chance to create a matcha and cinnamon chiffon cake from scratch.

After watching a live demonstration, guests will step into the kitchen and make their own cakes. With a small group size of only 12, the setting is casual and interactive—perfect for asking questions and learning new techniques directly from the chef.
While the cakes are in the oven, you’ll be treated to a specially curated vegan French course meal. Think terrine-style starters with a French twist, plant-based takes on classic meat dishes, and elegant flavors that reflect the chef’s creativity—all served with care and conscience.
You’ll also have the chance to relax, connect, and enjoy great conversations with other guests who share a passion for food and sustainability.

After training at restaurants in Kobe, Osaka, and France, our chef went on to serve as head chef at several renowned French restaurants in Osaka, including the modern French restaurant La Chic in Yodoyabashi. In December 2019, he took on the role of Executive Chef at THE LIVELY KITCHEN OSAKA HONMACHI.
Drawing on the elegance of French cuisine, he strikes a refined balance between classic and modern styles. His dishes highlight the beauty of seasonal Japanese ingredients, bringing out their natural vitality in creations that both surprise and delight.
With years of experience and a refined sense of taste, he continues to share the charm of “casual French”—a style unique to THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI that makes French cuisine approachable and enjoyable for everyone.
