GENKI

GENKI began his DJ career in 2005, organizing the party “feel up” with his friends, focusing on RB and D&B. From 2005 to 2008, his raw, self-taught DJ style, rooted in promoting events, evolved after witnessing the impressive skills of top Kansai DJs at the iconic underground club ZING and the then No.1 Kansai club UNDER LOUNGE, which had a huge following among the hippie crowd of the time. GENKI was captivated by house music and restarted his DJ career by formally studying music theory.

Since then, he has organized and hosted numerous successful parties. From 2015, GENKI was selected as a resident DJ for renowned Kansai events such as MRAGE, NEW ORDER, and CLS at Kansai’s largest club, PICCADILLY, among others. He has also performed alongside top international DJs like James Hype, Mark Knight, and Eric Prydz during their Japan tours, proving his skills not only in organizing and casting but also on the spot.

Currently, GENKI continues to push boundaries, launching the house music-centered party “Afterseven” in 2021 with the goal of creating Japan’s top house music content. He remains an active, forward-thinking DJ, continuously taking on new challenges.

AKKAN

A DJ/Producer based in Kansai, who began DJing in 2008. By 2011, they were quickly making a name for themselves, performing at regular events in major Osaka clubs as well as at large festivals across Japan. They also took on organizing their own events. In addition to supporting international artists and playing at lounges in hotels, they have performed in a variety of settings, expanding their reach over the years.

Their specialty is crafting energetic floor sets with genre-blending, groove-filled mixes, with a particular expertise in house music. Currently, they are also focusing on music production and studio work, releasing original tracks and remixes on various streaming platforms.

JUZZY

Starting their DJ career in the late 2000s, they became active in the Osaka club scene, particularly in the Minami area. At Osaka’s popular club THE PINK, they were the headline act every Friday and Saturday, and at the large-scale venue THE 超PINK, they performed every Tuesday, establishing themselves as a dominant presence as a regular DJ at both locations. Their sets, based on Hip Hop but incorporating multiple genres, skillfully blend unique edits that continue to captivate audiences, especially those from overseas.

In 2024, they performed as a guest DJ in cities across Japan, including Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Tokyo. With their vast experience and unique playstyle, their performances consistently bring fresh energy to the dancefloor, making them a standout figure in the Osaka club scene and drawing attention throughout Japan’s broader nightlife.

Hayato Teraguchi

The artist creates works centered around the theme of the “inner self,” drawing inspiration from Buddhism and incorporating these influences into their art. Specializing in live painting, their work spans a wide range of venues, from club events to public spaces like shopping malls. Using blacklight to enhance their artworks, they have crafted a unique and immersive world. In recent years, they have expanded beyond two-dimensional works, presenting many pieces in three-dimensional formats, continuously exploring their creative potential. In October 2022, they received an exhibition offer from a gallery in Italy, gaining attention internationally.

marikoxxx

A graphic designer and illustrator based in Osaka. Believing in the power of color, they create vibrant and uplifting designs, often covered in paint while live painting and creating artwork.

KAZUTARO

A Tattoo Artist at OLDHOUSE Tattoo Studio in Osaka’s Amerikamura. Their style is inspired by dark environments from manga and films, often incorporating abstract expressions while consciously blending elements of Japanese tradition to create unsettling and unique designs.
