THE LIVELY brand embodies the themes of DESIGN/MUSIC/ART/TECH. One of the ways our hotel provides its guests the “MUSIC” experience is through our Lounge DJ, hosted every night from 17:30~18:30.
THE LIVELY OSAKA HONMACHI has become a new place for socialising under the energetic beats of our DJs.
In November, more than 10 DJs will appear, a different DJ showcasing their unique music style every day.

■GENKI
Genki began DJing from 2005, organised R&B and D&B parties with his friends, and from 2005 to 2008 he moved from a rough around the edges DJ style when he was working mainly as a promoter, to a tech house style where he showed his skills as one of the top Kansai DJs, both in name and reality. He was fascinated by house music, which led him to begin studying DJing based on music theory, before restarting his DJ career.
After organising a number of successful parties, he was selected to DJ at various famous parties in the Kansai region, including MRAGE, NEWORDER and CLS, which became the signature party on Sundays at the largest club in Kansai, the PICCADILLY, established in 2015. He has been selected by world-class DJs such as Jameshype, Markknight and Ericprydz for their Japan shows, proving his realism in not only planning and casting, but also in spontaneous situations. In 2021 he started his own party, ‘Afterseven’, and is a progressive DJ who is always challenging himself.
■AKKAN
A DJ / Producer based in Kansai.
He started DJing in 2008, and in 2011 he quickly emerged as a DJ booking regular events at major clubs in Osaka, as well as making appearances at various clubs and large festivals around Japan, on top of organising his events.
He has also performed at various other venues, such as support shows for overseas artists and lounge performances at hotels, etc., and is still expanding his range of activities.
He is particularly good at mixing cross-genre music to create a sense of groove and vibe that makes you want to join the dance floor. He is particularly good at playing House music.
He is currently focusing on music production and studio work, and shares his original and remixed works on various distribution sites.
■JUZZY
He started his DJ career in the late 2000s, and has been active in the club scene ever since, mainly in the south of Osaka. He headlines every Friday and Saturday at a popular Osaka club, The Pink, and every Tuesday at The Super Pink, which boasts one of the largest facilities in the Kansai region. He has created an overwhelming presence for himself as a regular DJ at both these venues. In 2024, he performed as a guest DJ in Kyoto, Hiroshima and Tokyo. With his vast experience and unique playing style, his performances always bring new energy to the floor, and he has become a trending presence in the club scene, not only in Osaka but also throughout Japan as a whole.

One of the other elements of THE LIVELY Osaka Honmachi that gives you a sense of ‘MUSIC’ is the background music in the building. Much of the music played in the building is seasonal music by local artists and DJs.
