Celebrating 5 Years: Highlights from THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA’s Anniversary Event
Hello from THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA!
We’d like to share highlights from our 5th-anniversary celebration party, “Nakasukuyuen Night Summer Festival,” which took place on July 27.
On the day of the event, we enjoyed a one-night-only “playful feast” that blended the vibrant energy of the entertainment district of Nakasu with the elegant and playful spirit unique to THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA! Whether you attended the event or not, we invite you to experience the atmosphere through our event report!
This summer, we’ve been enjoying a summer festival experience themed “Wa SShoi LIVELY,” with flower arrangements and signage art adorning the hotel. During the event, we enhanced the summer festival atmosphere by incorporating original lanterns from a historic lantern shop in Nakasu Kawabata Shopping Street, which has been in operation since the Meiji era. The addition of these lanterns further amplified the festival ambiance.
Music
On the second floor of the hotel, we set up a DJ booth using festival stalls to create a dance hall atmosphere. With a total of five DJs providing house music, we created an immersive experience where everyone could drink, sing, and dance!
To close the event, we had DJ Peach, a rising female DJ active in the national music scene.
As the finale approached, the excitement reached its peak!
Art
With the theme “Hyakka Ryoran” (a riot of colors), the hotel interior was beautifully decorated with flower art. A stunning 15-minute live performance by San Jordi Flowers The Decorator captivated everyone!
Food & Drinks
On the 1st floor restaurant area, we featured a food stall area with offerings from our hotel restaurant, “THE LIVELY KITCHEN,” as well as popular local eateries. Some menus sold out within just two hours after the start!

Games
Participation Prize: Drink Ticket! No Losers!
For the first time at our event, we introduced classic summer festival games like shooting and ball scooping.
In the ball scooping game, guests exclaimed, “I’m scooping so many balls!” while staff members found it unexpectedly challenging…
In the shooting game, high scores earned a bottle of champagne as a prize! From children to couples and friends, everyone competed for high scores and enjoyed the game with great enthusiasm!
THE LIVELY Fukuoka Hakata has successfully celebrated its 5th anniversary thanks to the love and support of many guests.
