We are excited to host a Plogging Event around HOTEL GRAPHY Shibuya!
Join us for a refreshing and meaningful activity as we make the streets of Shibuya cleaner and greener. Get ready to break a sweat while combining fitness and eco-consciousness to create a more comfortable community together!
Plogging is a new fitness trend where participants jog while picking up litter. The word “plogging” combines the Swedish term “plocka upp” (pick up) with the English word “jogging.” This activity has quickly spread across the globe and is now enjoyed in over 100 countries. The more you do it, the cleaner your body, mind, and the environment become, making it immensely popular. Interestingly, even before the term “plogging” existed, some runners in Japan were already picking up litter during their jogs.
Our event will start at HOTEL GRAPHY Shibuya, where we’ll plog around the Shibuya area, ending with a refreshing treat—special SGNs smoothies at the hotel. This will be a perfect opportunity to mingle and network with other participants in the morning.

The Social Good Neighbors project encourages everyone to engage in activities that positively impact society. Through various initiatives under the Social Apartment umbrella, the project aims to inspire small but impactful positive actions in an enjoyable way. One of the regular activities of SGN is litter picking. Living in a Social Apartment often gives residents more opportunities to appreciate the charm of their neighborhood, which motivates them to keep it clean. With this in mind, we organize community litter picking events with residents, under the motto “Social Apartments make our neighborhoods cleaner.”
