Staff Recommendations: Top 3 modern cafes you should visit in Yanesen
Hello everyone!
Our hotel is located in the “Yanesen” area, which refers to Yanaka, Nezu, and Sendagi (Ya-Ne-Sen), representing downtown Tokyo.
The number of shops where you can feel the goodness of the local life and its delicious food is increasing these days gradually and Yanesen is becoming one of the most popular eatery spots.
This time, we would like to introduce the best Cafes you may want to visit in the morning in Yanesen. Here are some shops where you can start a good day!
① Australian Cafe: CIBI
CIBI is a cafe and concept store born in Melbourne, Australia. It is located at the entrance of Yanaka Ginza, about a 20-minute walk from HOTEL GRAPHY.
The interior of the store has been renovated from a former warehouse, and the high ceiling is giving this openness feeling.
The standard breakfast is the CIBI breakfast, accompanied by their famous flat white.
This is an Avocado toasted bread made with homemade natural yeast and an Australian-style latte with less foam and more milk which make you feel like you’re actually traveling to Australia.
In addition, their original muffins made based on the recipe from the main store in Melbourne and the daily lunch plate are also very popular.
Also, keep an eye on CIBI original goods because we are definitely sure that there must be something you would want to bring back home or offer as a gift to your family and friends.

Why is that? Because at Onigiri Risaku, you can enjoy a set of freshly cooked rice balls cooked in a feather kettle for only 500 yen!
We recommend a set of two rice balls for 500 yen and a bowl of miso soup.
You can choose from about 25 types of rice balls, from the classic salmon and Kishu plums to the weird ones such as grilled miso and boiled anago!
The rice is made from Koshihikari rice from Gunma prefecture. Its shiny color and taste will make you feel warm.

The breakfast there has an unique theme.
