This summer, THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA will welcome you with content that allows you to experience a unique summer festival under the theme “Wa SShoi LIVELY”.

In addition to culinary experiences, the popular lobby lounge area will feature a flower art display with the theme ‘Hyakka Ryouran’ (A Riot of Flowers). There will also be a terrace where you can enjoy Fukuoka’s famous food stall culture, and a summer accommodation plan that includes yukata rentals, perfect for enjoying alongside the flower art. These photogenic content offerings, unique to THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA, will make your summer experience memorable and fun for taking pictures.

In the popular lobby lounge area, we will create an immersive space using flower art with the theme ‘Hyakka Ryouran’ (A Riot of Flowers). Colorful flowers will bloom alongside a shining chandelier, and digital displays will show fireworks against the night sky. At the entrance, you will be greeted by flower art featuring lanterns and Japanese umbrellas, evoking the start of a festival. The exhibition is open to non-staying guests as well, so feel free to drop by with your family and friends and enjoy taking memorable photos.

Enjoy a new experience with Hakata’s famous food stalls at the hotel

This summer, a new area will be introduced at THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA, featuring a terrace where you can enjoy food stalls in a stand-up style.

Decorated with hand-painted original lanterns by a long-established lantern shop in Fukuoka dating back to 1895, this space offers a casual dining experience with mini motsunabe (offal hot pot) devised by THE LIVELY KITCHEN’s chef, Fukuoka local beer, and Makgeolli from Itoshima, enjoyed alongside 100% domestically sourced honeycomb. Additionally, a summer-exclusive evolved version of shaved ice will be available for purchase on the terrace, making it also suitable for café use.

We are launching a perfect summer plan that includes yukata rental for capturing memorable photos while enjoying the hotel’s flower art and exploring the city. With this plan, you can rent a yukata from our partnered store near Tenjin Station, which includes dressing and hairstyling services, making it easy to experience wearing a yukata. Dressing can be done between 9:00 and 17:00 before and after hotel check-in, and you just need to return it to the front desk by checkout time, allowing you to enjoy the yukata experience for a day. In the morning, you can explore perfect spots like Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and Hōjō-ji Temple in yukata, and after checking into the hotel, you can fully enjoy both the city of Hakata and the hotel stay, including taking photos with flower art in the lobby lounge or experiencing cocktails at the bar.
