Okinawa × Taiwan: MIX NIGHT – Celebrating the Arrival of Spring with Music, Food, and Culture for the Lunar New Year
A special event, “MIX NIGHT,” will be held at ESTINATE HOTEL NAHA from Thursday, January 23, 2025, to Sunday, February 2, 2025, celebrating the Lunar New Year in Okinawa, where Japan’s earliest cherry blossoms bloom.
During the event, the hotel will be transformed into an enchanting space with lighting inspired by cherry blossom petals, blending Taiwanese and Okinawan lanterns in harmony. Guests can also enjoy beer tastings and live performances of traditional Okinawan music played on the sanshin. Additionally, a spring-limited menu will feature a special taco, an original twist on Taiwan’s popular dish “ji pai” (fried chicken). Come and fully enjoy the arrival of spring in this unique setting where Taiwanese and Okinawan cultures come together.

Hotel FREE BEER TIME: 17:00 – 18:00
For a limited time, the evening beer service, usually exclusive to hotel guests, will be open to non-hotel guests as well. Feel free to stop by after sightseeing or while on a walk! During this period, we will be offering two special beers: Okinawa’s “Orion Beer” and Taiwan Beer.
- For non-hotel guests: Enjoy one free beer of your choice (one bottle).
- Exclusive perk for hotel guests: Unlimited refills within the hour, with the option to try both beers! (*Note: Only one Taiwan Beer per guest.)
Additionally, from 17:00 to 17:30, you can enjoy a live performance of the sanshin, a traditional Okinawan instrument. Relax in the soothing atmosphere, with the gentle sounds of the sanshin enhancing the experience. Savor a luxurious moment and enjoy the elegance of spring.

This dish features Taiwan’s ji pai (fried chicken) arranged as a taco, paired with Okinawa’s limited spring beer, “Ichiban Sakura Orion Beer.” The light and refreshing flavors perfectly enhance the feeling of spring’s arrival.
Sakura Awamori Cocktail
A special cocktail blending Okinawa’s awamori with sakura liqueur, offering a springtime feel. The refreshing citrus of yuzu, combined with the aroma of perilla leaves and shiso sprigs, creates a harmonious and elegant Japanese flavor. We’ve prepared a special night tour to help you fully enjoy Okinawa’s spring. The tour combines a stroll through Naha’s cherry blossom spots with a “senbero” experience, a unique Okinawan bar-hopping culture. The hotel staff will guide you through this luxurious evening.
After viewing the night cherry blossoms, you’ll experience “senbero” at local izakayas in Naha. For about 1,200 yen, you can enjoy a set of drinks and appetizers, a perfect way to explore the charm of Okinawa’s food and drink culture. Immerse yourself in the warm atmosphere of local izakayas, and indulge in delicious food and drinks.
